Is reformer Pilates better than normal Pilates?

No! The reformer and tower beds both compliment the mat based exercise classes. Reformer Pilates and the Tower beds are specialised larger pilates equipment using resistance springs to enable exercise to be more achievable for the less experienced, conversly they can make a reformer excercse more of a challenge, bringing with it faster results = great for strength and muscle / body control.

Can you get fit just doing reformer Pilates?

Yes! If you perform reformer pilates on a regular basis you can improve balance, strength, posture and yes, fitness + its far better than the Gym.

Can a beginner use a Pilates reformer?

Yes! Reformer Pilates classes (Newton Abbot) are great for beginners. We do however, encourage you attend one of Elites beginners reformer course. We also offer a trial reformer class session. All this is to ensure you stay safe. and are using the correct form. Elite Reformer studio classes allows for a much more versatile reformer workout in comparison to a mat based class.

Elite Pilates Reformer classes in Newton Abbot are NOT an Instagram Gym Bunnies type establishment. We specialised in those that may have clinical issues. However we do cater , and have , younger no medical issue clients. Primarily are clients are female, of a certain age, with some medical considerations,all of our reformer teachers are trained to deal with such clients. We are after all, a ReformerTeacher Training establishment – we train your reformer teachers!
