The studio offers you the traditional Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa for those who like it a bit quicker and with more flow and we also offered the much loved Yin Yoga.
Our beginner Yoga classes cater for REAL people in and around Newton Abbot, Torquay & Plymouth. So if you are looking for classes that cater for all shapes and sizes (and conditions) then Elite Pilates is here to help you to MOVE BETTER & FEEL BETTER. These beginners sessions can be a mixture of Hatha and Vinyasa so that we offer you an opportunity to experience the different styles.
We also offer regular 2 hr Yin classes – as it is so popular! Yin is far different from traditional yoga as it works on joints and tissues of the body rather than the muscles. During the Yin practice, you will be in relaxed and supported postures for several minutes. Most people find it extremely relaxing albeit still challenging on the body. It is considered a form of meditation and allows you to spend time with being still in body and mind.
Although you’ll want to be challenged – we do this in a safe way – we are also very aware of how different bodies can be and we don’t believe in one pose looking the same on everyone. You’ll learn how to honour and embrace the differences in your body and we provide many ways of making certain poses more accessible to you so that you can get the best out of your time with us.

What is the Difference Between Pilates & Yoga?
